Whispering Oaks Retreat Results!

I wonder how many kids can say that their Dad taught them to sneeze? Mark was trying to teach Emily to click her tongue and sneeze into a tissue.

She was so proud of herself! She kept grabbing tissues and going "Ahh Choo!"

I used My Mind's Eye-Just Dreamy short stack with glitter for this layout. I couldn't come up with any creative embellishments so Tammy suggested I cut out some stars from another piece of paper-even though I grumbled the whole time about having a Cricut and being reduced to scissors!!!! I think it turned out good. I used SCAL for the title.

These little bunny slippers are my favorite! It was my friend Tammy's idea to cut out Abby from the pic and place her on the quilt paper.

This Debbie Mumm Premium Prints paper really had me stumped until I bought the coordinating solid paper pack-what a difference! I'm never buying another pack of patterned paper unless I buy the solids at the same time!

I used SCAL for the title.

This is my favorite layout of the weekend. I used my Pooh cartridge for the flower frame and characters. Can you see the little pearl stickers on the flowers? I used pop dots to adhere the frame to its shadow to throw a little dimention in.

The paper is a misc pack I bought at Big Lots.

I knew when I started this layout that I wanted to make the cute little dress. I'd seen the idea on the Cricut blog. I used Everyday Paper Dolls to cut out the dress and then embossed it with my Cuttlebug using the textile folder.

The cross is from the Easter cartridge-embossed with the Moroccan Screen Cuttlebug folder. Don't you love the Martha Stewart border punch?

Ok, this is crazy! I created this blog about a year ago and haven't ever posted again! I know, I know-LOSER!

I am going to challenge myself-I'm going on a scrapbooking retreat this weekend. I bought 3 new Cricut cartridges-Easter, Forever Young and Once Upon a Princess. I'm going to take pics of my pages as I complete them and post them to this blog!

hope it works...
